As a division of the Westport Police Department, we require background checks on all applicants. For this reason we need you to submit your application with an original, notarized signature (Notary Public Personnel can be found at Westport Town Hall).

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS ON THE APPLICATION FORM.

Once you have filled out the application with copies of all required forms, background check authorization, and your original signature, you can mail it to us, or feel free to drop it off in person. We’d love to meet you!
