Your Donations Save Lives
On duty 24 hours a day
365 days a year
In order to serve all those who live, work, or pass through Westport, WVEMS depends on you, our residents and businesses, to fund its operations.
Westport’s Emergency Medical Service is a volunteer organization. Each and every donation we receive, no matter how small, makes a vital difference to the prehospital emergency medical care we offer every day, right here in our community.
As an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, your donations qualify as tax deductible.
Help Westport EMS Volunteer the Gift of Life.
How are donations used?

In addition to the selfless service of our 100+ volunteers, who put in over 18,000 volunteer hours each year, WVEMS depends on financial donations from the community to purchase and maintain the equipment and vehicles used by the ambulance service.
Individual and corporate donations go towards the purchase and upkeep of our three state of the art ambulances, three paramedic fly cars, state-of-the-art medical equipment and other life saving devices. Your generosity will also help us buy essential basic supplies such as bandages, splints, oxygen masks, as well as training our volunteers.
WVEMS could not exist today without the continued support of generous citizens just like you…
