Westport Volunteer EMS AED Fundraiser

The Heart of Westport is a very special evening dedicated to supporting all 3 Emergency Services of Westport (EMS, PD and FD) as well as our first responding crews all of whom carry AED’s. AED’s (Automatic Electronic Defibrillators) are life saving devices that shock the heart with an irregular heartbeat back to its normal rhythm. As with most medical equipment, these devices have an expiration date and the one’s our first responders carry are rapidly approaching theirs. We hope that you will join us for a beautiful evening in the heart of our town under the stars for some delicious food, dancing and a silent auction with some special guests for a night to remember. These devices have saved many lives in Westport, and we hope that with your help they will save many more! As an AHA Heart Safe Community our goal is to continue to keep everyone safe.
