AHA Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) CPR/AED Class
COVID-19 restrictions: temperature check outside the classroom, 99.9 or above will exclude you from taking the class. Wearing gloves and mask required at all times. No student to student, or instructor contact. No two rescuer CPR. No airway management practice on each other. No bandaging on each other. Social distancing is in place in the classroom. No food is allowed other than bottled or covered cups in the classroom.
BLS covers: Adult, child and Infant CPR, adult, child and infant obstructed airway management, AED instruction and practice, personal safety, You are required to pass the class exam with a score of 84 % or better. All students will receive the AHA 2020 BLS student work book to keep. AHA BLS eCard will be issued within 24 hours after you successfully pass the class and will show a two year recommended two year renewal.
You have to prepaid for the class. Entrance to Police/EMS HQ is from the Westside ( the Library Side) where you see the red door marked CLASSROOM Do not park in spaces marked FOR Police Vehicles only. That is a no-no.
