Westport’s Emergency Medical Service is a volunteer organization. We are not funded by the town and as such your donation makes a vital difference to the residents we help. WVEMS relies on donations from the community to fund our operations. No donation is too small, and as we are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, your donations are tax-deductible. Your donations will go towards the purchase and upkeep of our three state of the art ambulances, two paramedic fly cars, medical equipment and other life saving devices. Every donation is another step to help keep Westport EMS volunteering the gift of life.

Unit 604 and 606, our two paramedic 4X4 response vehicles

Westport EMS Unit 601, the first of two new ambulances purchased in April of 2016, will serve the town for years to come with state of the art emergency care and transport. Each unit can cost upwards of $150,000

Unit 606, our newest fly car. With 4 Wheel Drive, we are able to respond to emergencies in snow and other off-road conditions. These vehicles cost nearly $60,000

State mandated traffic jackets (costing more than $300 each)

Each WVEMS ambulance and fly car carries one LifePak 15, a vital tool for emergency medicine that is able to show our trained professionals data on their patients condition while relaying the information to the awaiting team at the hospital
